We peaked in the low/mid 90s and with very steamy air it was a bit of a sauna across the Bluegrass for Father’s Day. Expect more of the same Monday into Tuesday as the heat index soars to the mid/upper 90s pushing 100° in spots. Watch for an isolated afternoon shower or t-shower. Some relief is on the way with more widespread showers & storms firing up (middle through the end of the week) and slightly more seasonable highs back in the 80s.
