LEXINGTON, Ky (LEX 18) A fire forced a south Lexington family out of their home Tuesday evening.
The fire happened just before 6:30 p.m.on Cooper Springs Drive near Corona Drive. Firefighters tell LEX 18 that the family who lives in the house were home when the fire started but made it out okay.
The cause of the fire has not been released, but it appears the fire started from the outside.
Firefighters said the house is not livable, so the family will have to find another place to say.
