LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A man was arrested Tuesday in relation to his involvement with several recent burglaries.
Through the course of their investigation, police say they located items 32-year-old Edward W. Woods had attempted to sale via social media.
Detectives and officers arranged to meet with Woods on June 12, thinking he was meeting a potential buyer for some of the stolen property.
Upon arrival, police say Woods was taken into custody and subsequently charged with three counts of Burglary 2nd Degree. Additional charges are possible pending further investigation.
Detectives were able to close four cases related to the arrest. Woods is currently lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center.
