LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Three American Airlines flights leaving from the Blue Grass Airport on Tuesday morning were canceled due to a computer issue.

A representative from the airline said one of their regional carriers that operates 12 percent of American’s flights – PSA Airlines – has been battling some computer glitches. They had to cancel a number of flights Monday morning as well.

They say the computer glitch has been resolved and flights are getting off the ground, however because of the cancellations there are still a few back ups.

Later morning flights are expected to take off as scheduled.

American Airlines’ Customer Relations department has reached out and rebooked passengers on canceled flights.
