LEXINGTON, Ky (LEX 18) A man was arrested after a child was hit by a vehicle on Mandalay Drive Thursday.
Police say that around 5 p.m., a child around the age of 6 was hit by a vehicle. That child has non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to be okay.
Police say that the vehicle left the scene, but officers were able to find the driver. He was arrested.
The driver’s name has not yet been released.
