MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– The Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force arrested two men Tuesday for allegedly trafficking around 60 pounds of meth.

James M. Castile, 45, of Hopkinsville, and Stan L. Crunk, 46, of Hopkinsville, were in Graham when officials made contact with them and the sheriff department’s K-9 alerted on the vehicle.

Officials say a search of the vehicle produced approximately 225 grams of meth and several thousand dollars cash.

The task force was able to obtain a search warrant for Castile’s residence as well as a storage unit in his name.

Officers recovered approximately 875 grams of crystal meth between Muhlenberg and Christian County. They also recovered drug paraphernalia and a quantity of marijuana.

Upon executing a warrant on a storage unit in Clarksville, Tenn., officers say they recovered approximately 58 pounds of crystal and several thousand in cash.

Both men are facing charges of first-degree trafficking in meth (over two pounds).

Additional charges will be filed on Castile.
