FAYETTE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– The coroner is asking for the public’s help locating the family of a homeless woman who recently passed away.
Laka Hamm (Bass) was born in Maryland on Dec. 5, 1949.
Her occupation is listed as an automobile factory worker.
The coroner’s office says she may have family in Baltimore, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania. She may have a half-sister in New Jersey (they are not sure of her name) and a first-cousin named Paul (not sure of last name or residence).
Hamm’s mother, father, son, and infant daughter are all deceased.
