FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– One man has been arrested in connection to several vehicle burglaries in a Frankfort neighborhood.

Deputies say they were called to the Duckers neighborhood on June 15.

One person told them that he had his phone stolen from his van.

The victim used an app to locate the phone, and that’s where deputies say they found a man slumped over the steering wheel.

Upon contact with the man, deputies say they saw the stolen items from the thefts, including the cell phone that was tracked to the location.

John Perry was arrested and is now facing multiple charges.

The stolen property was returned to the victims and Perry’s case will be presented to the Franklin County Grand Jury on Tuesday for indictment on all four cases.
