LEXINGTON, Ky (LEX 18) Two people and a dog were all able to get out of their home quickly during a house fire Monday.
The call came in around 5:45 p.m. on Tatesbrook Drive.
Firefighters said that they were able to get the fire under control quickly and it was mainly contained to the kitchen.
The home had working smoke detectors.
The family cannot stay in the home because of smoke damage.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
