WOODFORD COUNTY, Ky (The Woodford Sun) In the Woodford County special election held Tuesday, voters rejected a tax hike to fund a new high school and other facility improvements.
The Woodford Sun reports that the tax hike a 5.5 cent property tax hike.
It was rejected by a margin of 316 votes. The Woodford Sun reports that the final tally was 3,758 votes against the hike, or 52.19% and 3,442 votes for the hike, 47.81%.
