LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Lexington police are looking for the suspect in an attempted kidnapping.
It happened around 9:40 p.m. Tuesday night on Newbury Way.
A woman told police her three children, between ages of 5 and 11, were playing outside their home when they say a man approached them and tried to drag them away.
The only description of the suspect is that he was wearing a hoodie and gloves.
Police are treating it as an attempted kidnapping and sent out a canine unit and helicopter to search the area for the suspect.
They were were unable to find anything, but will continue the investigation.
