MENIFEE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A former teacher will be back in court Thursday morning after being arrested earlier this year on drug charges.
Cherish Rednour was arrested in February after her students told officials the teacher snorted drugs in the classroom.
Deputies say the then 41-year-old crushed up a pill with her credit card, made a line out of the powder, and snorted it during class.
The students then told deputies their teacher had a hard time staying awake and she slumped over the desk.
Deputies were called to the school that day, where they say they found white residue on her desk and credit card.
Rednour is set to appear in court at 9 a.m.
