LemonAid Day To Raise Money For Homeless KY Children, Families

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Today is LemonAid Day!

For the twelfth year in a row volunteers across the Bluegrass will come together to host lemonade stands to help homeless children and families in Kentucky.

In Lexington, Walmart and Kroger stores as well as the Fayette Mall will play host to stands from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday.

All proceeds will go to the Salvation Army. 

Money will be us to provide for basic needs for homeless children including food, diapers, and clothing.

It will also be used to  help cover the cost of preschool and after-school education.
