(NBC News)– Toys R Us stores around the country are officially closed.
The toy retailer filed for bankruptcy last September and announced it would be closing half of it’s U.S. stores in February.
A month later the company said all Toys R Us stores, including Babies R Us, would close and liquidation sales began.
The last day was very emotional for employees and customers alike.
