WAYNE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — There was a scare overnight in Wayne County after a man jumped off a houseboat and disappeared into Lake Cumberland.
Authorities say the incident happened about 10:45 p.m. at Otter Creek.
Officials searched for the man after a woman called police and said she feared he had drowned.
The man later was found unharmed walking along Kentucky Highway 1546.
Officials said the man did not show signs of intoxication.
