BELL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A man was killed Friday night in Bell County when he wrecked his motorcycle.
Authorities say the crash occurred about 9:15 p.m. in the Hances Creek area.
Kentucky State Police say 45-year-old Charles Wayne Boatwright of Miracle was traveling eastbound on Kentucky Highway 1344 when he crossed the center line and drove off the road.
Police say Boatwright then overcorrected and crashed into a wooden fence.
Boatwright was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Police said he was not wearing a helmet.
Drugs and alcohol are not suspected as contributing to the crash.
