(Rolling Stone) Kentucky-native Johnny Depp was featured in a profile piece of Rolling Stone this month and the actor had a lot to say about his Kentucky family.
Depp has been in the center of a lot of drama recently including a publicized divorce and close scrutiny of his finances. He sat down with a reporter from the magazine to tell "the truth." At the same time, Depp spent a lot of the interview talking about his relationship with his mother and upbringing in the Bluegrass.
The actor’s mother passed away in 2016 and he is currently trying to sell the horse farm in Lexington that he bought her.
He described their relationship as loving but troubled.
At her funeral, he described her as "the meanest human being I ever met in my life."
