Investigation Continues Into CVS Robbery

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– The Lexington Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying two individuals who robbed a local pharmacy last month.

On May 29 officers responded to the CVS Pharmacy on Old Todds Road for an armed robbery. Two unknown men each wearing surgical masks, dark clothing and armed with handguns entered the store and demanded prescription opioids and cash from the register. Store employees complied with their demands and the suspects fled.

Surveillance video revealed that at least one of the suspects had been in the store earlier that evening. Investigators today released video from the store’s security cameras.
