SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A traffic stop in Georgetown lead to a massive drug bust Saturday.
Officers say they responded to Etter Lane on reports of a single vehicle crash,
When they arrived they noticed the driver, who appeared to be hiding something in the bushes.
Deputies checked the area and found a backpack containing large amounts of marijuana, crystal meth, and Xanax bars.
They also found three handguns, one of which was stolen, and about $7,600 in cash.
Police arrested 20-year-old Stephen Gomez.
