Kentucky Native Confronts EPA Chief In DC Restaurant

Posted

WASHINGTON (LEX 18)– Video of a Kentucky native confronting EPA Chief Scott Pruitt in public is spreading across social media.

Kristin Mink posted the video of her exchange with Pruitt in a DC area restaurant.

In it, she tells Pruitt about her 2-year-old son’s love of animals, clean air, and clean drinking water.

She also tells Pruitt she thinks he should step down, pointing to recent scandals surrounding him.

"We deserve to have somebody at the EPA that actually does protect our environment. Someone who belives in climate change and would take it seriously, for the benefit of all of us, including our children. So, I would urge you to resign before your scandals push you out."

Mink says Pruitt got up and left without responding.

However, an EPA spokesperson says Pruitt thanked her for her comments.
