HARLAN COUNTY, Ky (LEX 18) Flash flooding swept through parts of Harlan County last week and some families are struggling to recover.
Residents say that the water came through the creek like a tidal wave, taking a car with it and destroying it. Some people are cleaning up water from their homes.
KSP and Lowe’s in Corbin want to help with the cleanup process and will be handing out free supplies Thursday at the KSP Post in Harlan to try and help flood victims.
