1 Shot In ‘Officer-Involved Incident’ In Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE 3) – Police are at the scene of an officer-involved "incident" in the Southside neighborhood.

It was reported around 12:10 p.m. Thursday on Colonial Oaks Court, according to MetroSafe.

Dispatchers said one person was shot. The condition of the victim has not been released.

Christina Fikes lives in the complex and said she was taking out the trash when she heard “a bunch of gunshots.”

“I put my trash in the dumpster and started running,” she said.

LMPD tweeted at 12:33 p.m. that it was an "officer-involved incident," but further specifics were not shared:
