LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A man has been arrested following an extensive investigation into multiple burglaries, which included the theft of lottery tickets from multiple gas stations.

Police say 42-year-old Jeremy John Jarman is the suspect in at least two burglaries, one on April 16 and April 23. On both dates, a local gas station was broken into and several rolls of scratch off lottery tickets were stolen. The suspect was observed via video surveillance breaking glass out of the front door and entering the store. After stealing the items from the store, the suspect fled out of the front door.

The total amount of stolen lottery tickets from both burglaries was over $4,000.

Through the course of the investigation, detectives were able to identify Jarman as the suspect and charge him with the burglaries. Investigations are still ongoing in other burglary cases and Jarman may face additional charges.

Jarman is currently lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center and is facing two counts of third-degree burglary.
