LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – KY 1923, also known as Combs Ferry Road, will be closed Wednesday, July 11, through Friday, July 13, between milepoints 0.5 and 0.6 in Fayette County.

Traffic will be blocked from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day to allow crews to install gabion baskets and repair roadside drainage ditches.

There will not be a signed detour, but motorists can travel around the work zone via Winchester Road, N Cleveland Road and Todds Road.

Motorists should expect delays, travel with caution and avoid the area if possible.

All work is scheduled on a tentative basis and is subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
