LEXINGTON Ky. (LEX 18)– A man arrested in connection with a 2014 murder case in Lexington has entered an Alford Plea to lesser charges.
Officials say Allen Burgess entered that plea to criminal facilitation to murder.
This is in connection with the murder of Kieara Green back in June 2014.
Police say Green and three other people were inside when a group barged in and opened fire.
The recommended sentence is five years in prison.
Burgess is scheduled to be sentenced Aug. 17.
