LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police are investigating an assault and robbery of a homeless man early Saturday morning.
Authorities say the incident happened about 12:45 a.m. on Russell Cave Road near New Circle Road.
Police say a homeless man who frequents the area was assaulted by three men who punched him and stole his shoes and pants.
The victim was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.
Authorities did not provide a description of the man’s attackers.
