WAYNE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help finding a missing man.
The department posted on their Facebook page that Austin Jones of Monticello has been missing since June 24, 2018. Reportedly that’s the last time Jones family heard from him.
Jones is an over the road truck driver with the CR England Trucking Company ,according to the Facebook post, and his truck was located at a truck stop in Dixon Illinois.
Reportedly the truck was searched by the Dixon Illinois Police Department. Inside the truck they found Jones’ personal items, but no sign of him.
Jones is described as a 24-year-old white male with brown hair, brown eyes, 5’ 5” tall, 141lbs with a medium build.
The Wayne County Sheriff Office is asking anyone with information about Jones’ whereabouts to contact them at 606-348-5416 or call your local 911.
