LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police say they are investigating a Sunday morning crash of a sport-utility vehicle into a Lexington home as a possible DUI case.
Authorities say the crash happened about 6:30 a.m. in the 100 block of East 7th Street.
Police say the driver of the SUV was traveling eastbound at about 25 m.p.h. when he left the roadway and drove into the home.
Authorities say they are investigating the crash as a possibly caused by driving under the influence.
It was not clear whether anyone was in the home at the time of the crash, but police said no one was injured in the crash.
Crews were able to extract the vehicle from the home.
Fire officials were assessing the home’s structural integrity.
