LANCASTER, Ky. (LEX 18) – Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal crash in Lancaster.
The two-vehicle collision occurred Sunday on US 27 just after 2 p.m.
Police say that Archie Cobb, 79 years old, was attempting to turn left from a parking lot onto US-27, and drove into the path of a vehicle that was traveling south, operated by Bryan Sparks, 27 years old of Junction City. The two vehicles collided in the southbound lane and came to final rest in the roadway. As a result of the collision, Bryan Sparks was fatally injured and pronounced deceased at the scene by the Garrard County Coroner’s Office.
