Lane Closures Scheduled For New Circle Road Pavement Repairs

LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 6, 2018) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists that repair work on New Circle Road (KY 4) will require lane and ramp closures Monday, July 9, through Wednesday, July 11, between Harrodsburg Road (U.S. 68) and Nicholasville Road (U.S. 27) for shoulder and pavement repairs.

8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday, July 9, and Tuesday, July 10

New Circle Road (KY 4) – Outer loop

  • Left (fast) lane closed between Harrodsburg Road and Nicholasville Road for inside shoulder repair

7 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, through 6 a.m. Wednesday, July 10

New Circle Road (KY 4) – Outer loop

  • Alternating lane closures between Harrodsburg Road and Nicholasville Road for pavement repairs

12 a.m. – 4 a.m. Wednesday, July 10

New Circle Road (KY 4) – Outer loop

  • Entrance and exit ramp closures at Nicholasville Road for pavement repairs

Motorists should expect delays, travel with caution and avoid the area if possible.

All work is scheduled on a tentative basis and is subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
