CARTER COUNTY, Ky (LEX 18)– Two people are in the hospital after police say their neighbor stabbed them with a kitchen knife.
It happened around 2 p.m. Monday in Grayson.
Police say 61-year-old Harold Maggard stabbed a man and his girlfriend.
They say Maggard admitted to stabbing the pair, though he allegedly didn’t explain why.
Police say there is no sign of self-defense.
Maggard is at the Carter County Detention Center charged with two counts of first-degree assault.
