FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Harrison County man is facing multiple counts of possession of child pornography.
Authorities say 48-year-old Ricky M. Lyons of Cynthiana was arrested Monday and charged with 20 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, all class D felonies.
Attorney General Andy Beshear and his Department of Criminal Investigations Cyber Crimes Unit announced the arrest Tuesday afternoon.
Officials said the investigation into Lyons began July 1 and a search warrant was executed at his home. Beshear’s office said "several computers containing graphic media files of children engaged in sexual acts" were seized from the home.
Lyons was being held in the Bourbon County Jail.
