3 To Be Sentenced In 2014 Deadly Home Invasion

KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– The last three remaining defendants in a 2014 deadly home invasion will be sentenced Wednesday.

Police say two men dressed as U.S. Marshals burst into Donald Mills’ home demanding money and drugs. He was was shot and killed during a struggle.

Patrick Baker was sentenced to 19 years in prison last year for his role in the crime. 

In May, Elijah Messer was found guilty of manslaughter and first-degree robbery in connection to Mills’ death.

Angela Mills and Christopher Wagner have also entered guilty pleas in connection to the crime. 

Mills, Wagner, and Messer will all be sentenced today.
