LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE 3)– A death investigation is underway in Louisville where a woman’s body was found in the woods.
The body was found Tuesday morning on Bircham Road, near Valhalla Golf Club.
Police believe the woman may have been the victim of a hit and run.
Investigators haven’t said if they’ve found any pieces of the vehicle they’re looking for nor have they identified a driver.
An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
