HAROLD, Ky. (EKB) – Social services were called after a child was found in the middle of a Floyd County highway in a soiled diaper.
Several motorists in the Mud Creek community found the child Wednesday evening.
A neighbor stopped to direct traffic and others ran to get supplies for the infant. Troopers did go door to door to find the child’s family. KSP confirmed that no one was arrested, but social services were notified.
The filthy diaper is still on the side of the road. The witness, who did not want to be identified, told EKB that it could have been much worse if drivers hadn’t noticed the child.
