(CNBC) If you shopped online at Macy’s from April 26 to June 12, your data may have been compromised.
Macy’s reported a data security breach between those dates and affects people who shopped online at macys.com or bloomingdales.com.
Hackers were able to see customers’ addresses, phone numbers, and credit card information. Macy’s said the macys.com and bloomingdales.com accounts do not include CVV numbers that appear on the backs of credit cards or Social Security numbers.
The company sent an email notifying affected customers. They are offering free protection services to customers affected by the breach.
