KSP Seeks Public Assistance In Search For Missing Leslie Co. Man

LESLIE COUNTY, Ky (LEX 18) KSP is searching for a missing Leslie County man named Tyler North.

Family members reported North missing on Monday, June 25.

He was last seen around 10:15 p.m. on Sunday, June 24 near the Cawood Recreation Area off Ky 421 near the Leslie/Harlan County line.

North’s truck was found burned on a strip mine off Ky 1850 on the Leslie/Clay County line on July 1. North was not located in the truck.

Detectives and KSP K9s have searched for North in several locations.

KSP describes North as a white man, 5’9”, weighing 190 pounds. He has blue eyes, short, brown hair, a goatee, and his right arm has a full sleeve of tattoos. North was last seen wearing a red t-shirt, blue and white shorts, red and black shoes, and a camouflage hat.
