JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky (LEX 18) As perfect as the weather was Thursday, it could be bad Friday and throughout the weekend during the Barbasol Championship.
Inside the on-site meteorologist trailer at the tournament, the first band of bad weather is already in site on the radar. It’s headed south and east towards central Kentucky. Rain alone isn’t the only concern. Obviously, the tour deals with this constantly, and the people keeping an eye on our skies are prepped for every possible scenario.
They have decided that due to the threat of inclement weather, Friday’s tee times will be bumped up to 7 a.m. with a second wave of pairings beginning at noon. Gates will open at 7 a.m.
