GALLATIN COUNTY, Ky. (WLWT)–A Northern Kentucky man, who was last seen flying his personal plane, has vanished, officials with the sheriff’s office said.
Robert “Bobby” Askins was last seen around 5 p.m. Thursday, officials said.
He took off in his plane from his personal air strip along Jericho Road, officials said, and then suddenly disappeared.
He has not contacted his wife or friends, officials said, and a large search is underway.
WLWT is reporting that he was last seen flying a red and cream small plane, with a tail No. N228LC.
Askins is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighing around 175 pounds.
