LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A man is hospitalized after a wreck late Friday on Lexington’s far south side.
Authorities say the wreck happened about 11 p.m. on Man O’ War Drive between Saron Drive and Clearwater Way.
Police say the vehicle crossed over the median and the outer loop before going down an embankment.
Officials tell LEX 18 the driver was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.
The roadway was closed for about an hour while crews cleared the scene.
The road was wet at the time of the crash, but it’s not clear if weather was a factor in the crash.
