FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A van carrying 12 people flipped Sunday afternoon on Interstate Highway 64, but officials said only two people received minor injuries.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened in the eastbound lanes at 58 mile marker.
Emergency responders transported two of the people, who were described as receiving "very minor injures."
The sheriff’s office said the people in the van were family members and were being transported to Capital City Christian Church.
The scene was cleared quickly and the roadway is open.
