LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A United Airlines experiencing a mechanical problem landed safely Saturday afternoon at Blue Grass Airport.

United officials say a report of a pressurization problem on Flight 3911 from Newark, New Jersey, to Lexington sparked the emergency call.

Blue Grass Airport spokeswoman Amy Caudill said the airport’s public safety crews and Lexington Fire Department personnel met the plane on the runway.

Officials said the plane landed about 4 p.m. safely and without incident. No one was injured in the case.
