MIDWAY, Ky. (LEX 18) – As outages continue for the third day in Woodford County for many customers, Midway Baptist church has opened a center for those who need a hot shower.
The shower trailer is provided by the Southern Baptist Disaster Relief at 121 S Winter Street in Midway. Residents without power in need of a free hot shower are welcome. Bring a towel and toiletries.
The center will be open from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. this evening.
The church will also open the Midway Food Pantry from 1 p.m.- 8 p.m. to provide food to those who may have lost items during the power outage.
