LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)- Police are searching for the man they say tried to rob a Lexington woman and cut her.It happened a little before 1 a.m. Thursday morning at a home on Hollow Creek Drive, just off Russell Cave Road.Police say a woman was leaving her home when a man approached her with a knife, demanding her car keys. When she refused, the suspect cut her arm and took off on foot towards New Circle Road. The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police say the suspect was last seen wearing an orange sweatshirt.
