LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Two apartment buildings were evacuated Saturday after a vehicle fire spread and threatened the structures.
The Lily Fire & Rescue department says its personnel responded about 5:15 p.m. to a report of a vehicle fire in the 100 block of American Greeting Card Road.
Responding crews found that the fire had spread to a nearby vehicle and was threatening to jump to two nearby apartment buildings.
Firefighters evacuated both buildings. The crews then were able to extinguish the fires on both vehicles safely.
No one was injured in the incident.
