LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 30, 2018) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists that repairs continue for the bridge located on Nicholasville Road/US 27 over New Circle Road/KY 4. The work consists of joint repairs and is being performed during evening and early morning hours.
Wednesday, August 1 through Thursday, August 2 – 10 p.m. each evening until 5 a.m. each morning
Sunday, August 5 through Thursday, August 9 – 10 p.m. each evening until 5 a.m. each morning
Nicholasville Road/US 27 – the bridge over New Circle Road/KY 4
- left/fast lane closures will be in effect between Canary Road (milepoint 2.142) and Wilhite Drive (milepoint 2.554)
- the lane closures will be both inbound and outbound
New Circle Road/KY 4 – Inner Loop
- the inner most left turn lane from the Inner Loop to Nicholasville Road will be closed
- motorists on the Inner Loop of New Circle Road will be diverted over New Circle Road via the On and Off Ramps for Nicholasville Road at milepoint 0.0
Note: LFUCG Police will be assisting with the closures and traffic flow
