BEDFORD, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Kentucky State Police announced the arrest of a Bedford man on child pornography charges.
Authorities say 33-year-old Leonard Andrew Jr. was arrested last Thursday by KSP’s Electronic Crime Branch.
He is charged with five counts each of possession of matter depicting the sexual performance of a minor and first offense distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.
The charges are all class D felonies.
Police say they seized equipment believed to have been used in the crime from Andrew’s residence and that it is currently being examined at the KSP forensic laboratory.
The case remains under investigation.
Andrew was being held in the Carroll County Detention Center.
