Deputies: Man Arrested After Stabbing Woman With Fork

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky (LEX 18) A man was arrested Wednesday night in Laurel County after deputies say he stabbed a woman with a fork.

The arrest happened off Robinson Creek Road around 11:55 p.m. 

Deputies responded after a complaint that a man had stabbed a woman in the neck with a fork. When deputies arrived, they found a female victim in the front yard with a stab wound on her neck. That wound was from a fork. 

Deputies say that through their investigation, they learned that an unprovoked physical altercation had happened in the home. The victim fled outside to call 911. She told deputies that the man was under the influence. 

Charles R. Perkins was charged with assault – second-degree; wanton endangerment – first-degree; resisting arrest; menacing. In addition, the subject was wanted on 3 Clark County and Boyd County bench warrants of arrest for failure to appear in court.

he was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
