Franklin County Escapee Back Behind Bars

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A man who escaped from the Franklin County Regional Jail is now back behind bars.

Joseph Gramer II was reported missing around 10 a.m. Saturday morning during a head count.

He was convicted of receiving stolen property out of Campbell County and was supposed to be in custody until at least November of 2022. 

The State Journal reports he was caught Wednesday night by the Covington police department.

He now faces two new charges– theft of identity and public intoxication.

Gramer will also face an escape charge out of Franklin County.
