LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – There is a large power outage affecting several areas near Tates Creek Road.
According to Kentucky Utilities, there are over 11,000 customers without power in the areas near Merrick Place, Chinoe and surrounding streets. There is no known cause at this time for the outage.
Crews estimate that the power will be restored around 5:30 p.m.
Several traffic lights at busy intersections are out. Police will be directing traffic. Please use caution.
